KM80101 F-94C STARFIRE FIGHTER

An all-new tooling of the Starfire in 1/48 scale, from new maker Kitty Hawk Model! The F-94C was the ultimate development of the Starfire, an aircraft that owed its conception to the fact that the aircraft the USAF wanted wasn't ready for service yet, and its continued development over three models (F-94A, B and C) to the prolonged development of the aircraft (F-89) it was conceived to "pinch hit" for in the first place. The F-94 may have been (initially) a rushed development of the T-33 trainer, however it served admirably well as the USAF's first jet all-weather fighter. It was also the first USAF aircraft with an afterburner and the first USAF fighter will all-rocket armament
