History

Arthur Forster, of Forster Motorsport, from Newcastle Upon Tyne, is campaigning in the 2010 British Touring Car Championship. Arthur has previously taken part in the Mini Challenge & Fiesta championships. Won the Mini Challenge in 2005.

Arthur started Karting in the 80s , learned race craft with racing with other junior karters like Alan McNish and Jason Plato. He won driver of the year award in 1984, gave up racing at the age of 16 to start his own business. Returning to motorsport in 1994 in the Toca Ford Fiesta Challenge, Arthur won nearly all the best improver awards for the driver who made up the most places on the grid.
Arthur always wanted to be a saloon car racer since watching the DTM in the days they had the E30 BMWs racing and with Winckelhock and Soper so dominant in BTCC. That was when Arthur knew that his true goal was to race in the BTCC in a BMW!
