1955 CHEVY NOMAD

The  55 Chevy Nomad` was born an instant classic. The concept of a sleek two-door wagon first seen on a sports car wich became the ` 53 Corvette ` show cars. Popular response was so favorable that both the name '' Nomad '' and the two-door wagon concept was incorporated into the new line of ` 55 Chevrolet ` models. Highly prized by collectors and hot rodders alike the ` 55 Nomad ` has remained a prime property for restoration, customizing and drag racing, down through the years. Altough the Nomad was produced in ` 55, 56 and 57 `, the original ` 55 Nomad ` has remained the most sought after version of this popular car.
